My experience at Togwotee Mountain Lodge was once in lifetime! It is located in a National Forest. You hear animals 24/7 and have no idea where these sounds are coming from, truly magical.
I was able to learn how to snowmobile in the back country during my stay with zero prior experience. After completing a two day course I was ripping up powder in open meadows and climbing peaks. The views of The Grand Teton peaks are jaw dropping. Snow is super soft and they provide a playground for their visitors to rip the sleds.
It doesn't hurt that the food is spectacular and staff is super helpful. I even ate lunch once on my snowmobile in the back country. The sandwich was so cold, it tasted absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying this winter wonderland out for yourself.
